(Like many things on this site) I am blatantly stealing this structure from Faea's blog, where she goes into detail on how to implement this stuff for beginners

To put it simply, take an RSS feed - which can range from a program, to a website you make an account on, to an app - and slap this and/or any other people's RSS.xml URLs into it. It'll sort every feed you add in chronological order, giving you an easy way to set up notifications and feeds of writer's latest works.
